Title: Iridescent Urchins
This vivacious artwork celebrates the depth and vibrancy of community life. Sea urchins can only survive when in a community and when living close to the sunlight. A parallel is made here to human relationships. People were made for relationship and to be connected to a community. The textured background has been built up from many layers and then completed with spontaneous flicks of the paintbrush to achieve the lustrous 3D effect.
